Good workplace design doesn’t just look good, it empowers the business to improve efficiencies and enhances the experience for staff and visitors alike – ID21’s design for Young Living is a case in point.
From outside, one is drawn by the botanical line drawings flourishing on the façade. Stepping past an oversized wall of lush live plants in the entryway, the arresting design and originality of the Young Living Singapore showroom strikes the senses of the visitor, not unlike the brand’s renowned aromatherapy products.
But what makes the visit to Young Living feel great is how ID21 has integrated visitor flow and operational efficiencies into brand space. Just six years into operations in Singapore, the network marketing company had rapidly outgrown its old office at Bugis Junction which led to an ambitious design brief to reduce collection time during peak periods from 2 hours to just 20 minutes.
Akin to how Young Living celebrates the harmony between nature, body, mind, and soul, the new Singapore space harvests the rhythm of nature to create a space where traffic flows naturally and makes a visit to Young Living uplifting and invigorating. At the core of the space is the reception and showroom, which takes its shape from an organically circulating space with carefully-positioned seating and displays, its wide open spaces creating an open and welcoming feel.
